How ready are you for AI automation?

Score your operation across five dimensions and see what to fix first. Fifteen questions, about two minutes.

Progress0/ 15
01

Data & systems

How connected are your core systems (ERP, CRM, project and ops tools)?
When you need operational data, how do you get it?
How reliable and structured is that data?
02

Process maturity

Are your high-volume workflows documented?
How repeatable and rule-based are your core processes?
Do you know where repetitive manual effort is concentrated?
03

Use-case clarity

Can you name the processes where automation would help most?
Have you estimated the time or cost of those manual processes?
Is there a clear owner or sponsor for an automation initiative?
04

Team & adoption

What is leadership's posture toward AI and automation?
How comfortable is your team adopting new tools?
Do you have capacity to support a rollout?
05

Governance & control

Are there approval workflows for key operational decisions?
How comfortable are you letting software take or route actions with oversight?
Is there a review process for new software vendors?

MethodologyHow the score works

The scorecard assesses five dimensions that, in our advisory work, separate the operations that get value from automation quickly from the ones that stall: whether your data is connected and reliable, whether your high-volume workflows are documented and repeatable, whether you know which use cases are worth automating, whether your team and leadership are ready to adopt, and whether you have the approvals and oversight to let software act safely.

Each of the fifteen questions is scored 0 to 3. A dimension can earn up to 9 points; the five dimensions sum to a maximum of 45, normalized to a 0 to 100 overall score. The two lowest-scoring dimensions drive your prioritized next steps. The model is deterministic, so the same answers always produce the same score.

This is a directional self-assessment to help you sequence the work, not a formal audit. The recommendations are starting points; the right path depends on your specific systems and constraints.

FAQ

Readiness scorecard questions.

Questions about the score, the dimensions, and what happens after.

What does the score actually measure?

It measures operational readiness to adopt AI automation, not how advanced your AI is. Fifteen questions across five dimensions, data and systems, process maturity, use-case clarity, team and adoption, and governance and control, each scored 0 to 3. The result is a 0 to 100 score and a tier.

How are the dimensions weighted?

Equally. Every question carries the same weight, so the overall score is the normalized sum across all fifteen. The per-dimension breakdown shows where you are strong and where the groundwork is missing.

What do the tiers mean?

Foundational means groundwork first. Developing means there are pockets of readiness and a contained pilot makes sense. Ready means you have a strong base to prioritize high-value use cases. Advanced means you are ahead of most mid-market peers and the focus shifts to scaling and governance.

Why ask for my email to see the breakdown?

The headline score and tier are on-page and free. The per-dimension read and the two prioritized next steps ship to your inbox in a format you can share with your team.

Is my assessment stored?

Only if you choose to unlock the breakdown by entering your details. The on-page assessment runs entirely in your browser until then.
